As we embark on this new Home School Journey it’s important that every child can still stay connected socially and academically without feeling overwhelmed. My goal is to inspire both blooming artist and those that lack passion for Art. From my own personal experience as a mother, I’ve witnessed my children tap into their inner artist on paper and canvas. With the proper support and encouragement students can gain a sense of self love and confidence.

Through my Artmakers Workshop students will learn the basic skill set in designing Fashion Art. Over the course of 5 weeks, your child will gain an understanding of fashion design and explore their own unique style.

Live classes will be held once per week. I offer workshops for both Young ArtMakers from the age of 7 yrs old to 12 yrs old and Teen Artmakers from the age of 13 yrs old & Up. For 60 minutes my young Artmakers will create weekly paintings based on Sneaker Design. Paint designs will be based on a pre-sketch template for an easy step by step paint process to follow along. Our Teen ArtMakers Workshop will offer art concepts and projects for students to illustrate their very own Clothing Collection. Our weekly schedule will consist of fun, unique Design projects such as:

Week 1: Intro into Fashion Design, Pattern Making. Paint Subject: (4) 6x6 canvases

Week 2: Developing your own Brand Logo. Paint Subject: 8x10

Week 3: Design Your Own. Paint Subject: 8x10

Week 4: Paint like a Fashion Illustrator. Paint Subject: 8x10

Week 5: Hand-Painted Wearable Art: Face Mask Design. Paint Subject: Face Mask

Each week, students will learn a new art concept and spend the majority of class time painting these concepts on canvas or the subject form for that week. The goal for each week will be to finish what we started in class. If students follow along and complete their art projects, they will end the week with a new Masterpiece to add to their Fashion portfolio that shows off their new skills and creativity. At the end of the workshop, the final assignment will be to put all works of Art together and share it with the class.

Students are guaranteed individual instruction and attention during each session to ensure that their learning is tailored toward exactly what they want out of their designs.

Requirements:

All Students must purchase the ArtMaker’s Art Kit which includes an easel, Acrylic Paint Set (4 oz primary colors), 3 Paint Brush Set, and all Canvases. Students must provide their own sketch book.

Recordings/Photos

All Classes are photographed and recorded, but by default the recordings are only made available to teachers and may be used for promotional use. Accommodations can be made by request via email only, please contact us at chermiaamour@gmail.com.

Extra Class help

Every class will be available 15 minutes prior to the start of class for any additional help or technical support. For any further assistance, private lessons are available through out the week.

Refunds

There are no refunds or exchanges for any late or missed classes. Missed classes cannot be made up.
